A known issue in eRA Commons is impacting SF-424 applications. If you receive the error (Figure 1) when validating your SF-424 application, the application will need to be prepared and submitted through ASSIST. If you would like to confirm that you should change from an SF-424 submission to ASSIST, please contact the PERIS™ Team.

When submitting the request form for MyFunding or MyRA Access, two signatures are required to approve the request and to ensure the appropriate level of access is provided. The first signature is from the direct supervisor of the individual needing access (Figure 1).  

Coming in FY27: MyRA Upgrade

The PERIS™ Team is excited to announce that we have officially kicked off a project to upgrade MyRA to a cloud-based platform!

In response to user feedback, the following updates have been made to the Award Modification Request (AMR) SmartForm and notifications: 

Updates have been made in MyFunding so that all Funding Proposal (FP) records that are associated with a proposal or award being processed by the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) can be related (connected) to each other.

Funding Proposals

When preparing system-to system administrative supplements in MyFunding, Opportunity IDs (Figure 1) may include multiple application packages (Figure 2).  Therefore, carefully review each package description and select the appropriate package to ensure all required forms and components are included in the submission.

To copy a Funding Proposal in MyFunding, select the ‘Copy’ activity on the left-hand side of the Workspace (Figure 1).

Deliverables can be managed on an Active Award in MyFunding with the ‘Manage Deliverables’ activity (Figure 1).

In response to user feedback, two Award Modification Request (AMR) notifications have been updated to include the “Assigner” (the user who assigns the “Submitter,” i.e., the departmental research administrator submitting the request).

For any new AMRs created in MyFunding after April 15, 2026, the ‘Assigner’ will receive the following notifications:
