Due to the large number of sponsors in MyFunding, it may be necessary to conduct an advanced search \ to find a sponsor. To conduct an advanced search when developing a funding proposal, click on the box with the three ellipses (Figure 1). A new window will open where you can search for the Sponsor’s official name (e.g., National Institutes of Health and not NIH (Figure 2). To further narrow your search, use the ‘%’ sign as the 'wildcard' (e.g.,%National Figure 3). Once the appropriate sponsor has been located, select the sponsor and click ‘OK’ to save (Figure 4). If the sponsor is not listed, enter the sponsor name into the box as shown below (Figure 5), and complete the New Sponsor Request Form to have it added to MyFunding.
