In response to user feedback, the MyFunding module will undergo a system enhancement to add additional subcodes to the ‘Budget Reconciliation’ page of the award smartforms. This update will take several days to complete due to the extensive nature of the update.

In response to user feedback, the PERIS™ team is revising the award-related Quick Guides. The revised Quick Guides will now include additional information to assist users with the submission of award-related actions and process-related information for each action.

The PERIS™ Team will be conducting additional topic-specific trainings for research administrators throughout the Summer. The next four sessions are listed below. MyFunding Updates June 2019 In response to user feedback, the MyFunding module has been updated to incorporate the following changes: 1. Email Award Editors’ Notification Updated The Principal Investigator (PI) will no longer receive an email notification when this activity is executed. 2. Continuation (Progress Report): Addition of the following fields: a. Sponsor Continuation (Progress Report) Due Date b.

The topics of this communication include: • Revised Subaccount Process • New Flow Charts • New MyFunding Search Filter • Topic Specific Training Sessions Revised Subaccount Request Process Users will no longer be required to complete separate subaccount requests when establishing a new award or when completing a modification that includes budget changes.

The PERIS™ team is excited to announce the launch of Award Activations in the MyFunding module. MyFunding has been updated to provide a wide variety of new resources and functionality to the research community for all federal, non-federal, corporate and foundation awards.

The PERIS™ team is excited to announce that the design, development, testing, and training for Phase 2, Award Activations, in the MyFunding module are complete. The rollout of Award Activations is scheduled for Monday, March 11, 2019. Phase 2 Rollout The rollout of Phase 2 will allow the research community to use MyFunding to create, route, and activate all new and existing awards (including federal grants and contracts, foundation agreements, and corporate contracts), beginning on March 11th, 2019.

In consideration of the two large federal grant deadlines that will be occurring in February and March, the PERIS™ team will delay the rollout of Award Activations in the MyFunding module from February 18th, 2019 until March 11th, 2019. Over the next month, the PERIS™ Team will continue to conduct training sessions for the activation of awards in the MyFunding Module.
